Creating a Sellable Product

Everybody knows that if the product is overpriced from the beginning, it will not get any attention from the consumer. That is why preparing a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) in today’s market is an important tool that AmeriHomes Realty uses to help the homeowner sell the home faster and earn the highest possible price. A good CMA will take recent sales, pending sales and current listings that are within the same neighborhood and have similar characteristics to the subject property into account.

Digital Photography

Professional-looking photos help sell real estate faster! The right high-quality pictures can reach out and grab buyers’ attention. If you want your home to stand out among the rest, you are going to need to make the property as attractive as possible. Every time AmeriHomes Realty introduces a new property to the market, it hires a professional photographer that takes amazing pictures of the house. Many of those “homes for sale” magazines are free, published monthly, and distributed throughout the New York Metro area in high volume. The “Shelf life” of such magazines is longer than that of newspapers. AmeriHomes Realty has been advertising in these magazines for a long time, occupying pages of space. Thanks to that presence, we have earned recognition from our readers.

Direct Mail

Most bulk mailings end up in the trash before they are ever opened. Post cards, at least, have the benefit of being noticed, and why not take advantage of it. Within 10 days of the property being offered to the market, AmeriHomes Realty targets local residents within the same neighborhood with a “Just Listed” postcard. It is a full-color postcard that has multiple photos and includes property details. The same card is used as an invitation to an Open House as well. Real Estate Newsletters with current AmeriHomes Realty listings are also mailed to a private list of Brooklyn and Staten Island residents.

Open House

Holding a property open for a few hours on the weekend gives the home owner and the listing agent an opportunity to gauge the reaction of prospective buyers to the appearance and amenities of the property. Holding a broker’s open house, usually during the week, provides an opportunity for AmeriHomes Realty to point out any special features of the home to other agents. The times and dates of both public and broker’s open houses are widely advertised in local newspapers and on the Internet.
